I just watched the last episode of season 4 of The IT Crowd. All I can say is damn! I hate that the seasons are so short. I'm already missing Moss, Roy, Jen and Mr. Reynholm.

Review: I actually didn't have too high expectations of this futuristic action flick about a world where artificial limbs and organs can be bought on credit. When you can't make the payments the organs gets repossessed by the repo men. I know that the story sounds really crappy, but the movie ias actually quite good. Much of this is because of Forest Whitaker and Jude Law in the lead roles. So if you're in the mood for a decent action movie to pass some time with, then you might just see Repo Men.

A movie about Facebook? My God! I hope it totally bombs! I saw the trailer at the cinema the other day and I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Review: The Ghost Writer got a quite a lot of press when it came out earlier this year. Mostly because it was Roman Polanskis first movie in many years. I don't consider myself an expert on Polanskis movies, far from it. Of course I've enjoyed movies such as Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby and The Fearless Vampire Killers. The Ghost Writer is also a movie to add to the list of movies by him that I've enjoyed.

Y: The Last Man

It was with mixed emotions that I found the last two books of Y: The Last Man in the mail today. I will miss it when I've finished reading it later tonight. Now I can only look forward to the movie adaptation.

Final Day

The day began with some awesome music brought to us by the drummers in Kiriaka. There ain't no party like a Kiriaka party. After that it was time for a bit of Roky Erickson with Okkervil River. Not really my cup of tea (or bottle of water which perhaps is more in the spirit of this festival). Sick of it All was next on the menu and they brought it hard as usual. A bit of a contrast to Dan Berglund which followed even though his lyrics is harder than nails. Then a long wait followed. Saw a few songs by both Mando Diao and John Fogerty before it was time for Jigga himself, Jay-Z. He delivered as expected and I don't think anyone got disappointed.
All in all, a really good festival.

Day Three

Day three of Peace & Love. First up was Nationalteatern. Always entertaining, and especially when Mattias Hellberg got to sing. After that I went to see a couple of minutes of Nicke Borg Homeland. Never heard them before, but it sounded pretty good. Then it was time for Patti Smith. And she really made my expectations come true. She was amazing. Up next was Brother Ali. I've seen him 3 or 4 times before but have always been kind of disappointed. Today though his warmth, combined with his skills, really got through. A good show. I ended the day with an intimate performance by Kristofer Åström. A nice ending to a good day.

Day Two

My second day at Peace & Love was very relaxed. First I saw Taylor Mali. A bit of a disappointment really, but mostly because of the venue. Didn't do him no good. Fun to see him at last though. After that I mostly hung on my friend Kjelles balcony listening to music from a distance. Then it was time for NOFX. Once again, not that impressed. Good to see them again though. It's always kind of nostalgic. I missed both Devendra Banhart and Alice in Chains (even though I listened to their entire concert from the balcony, and it sounded good). Saw a couple of minutes of Them Crooked Vultures before it was time for Robyn. Really good show!
