Never Let Me Go
Review: I'm no sucker for happy endings, so when I'm offered to watch a dystopian movie I usually like them. This one is based on a novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. I haven't read it, but I like his earlier work such as The Remains of the Day and When We Were Orphans. The movie is well made and has some really good actors in it. Carey Mulligan who I liked in every movie I've seen her in, but especially Andrew Garfield who was brilliant here, just as he was in Boy A. Unfortunately the movie never really captures me. Can't really say why, but it ends up being nothing more than a descent movie. See it for yourselves though.
