Do you feel that there's a lack of hip hop in comics, or vice versa? Then look no further than to Grandpa Funnybook's Mix-Tapingly Arranged Rapping Song Album 2: Dyadic Dynamite! Apart from having an annoyingly long title, it's filled to the brim with cartoon geekiness served on top on hip hop beats. Artists such as Wordburglar, Ghettosocks, More or Les and The Garthim-Master really dives deep into their knowledge of comics and superheroes and bring out a fun album that gets you smiling. I'm not really sure however what the real point is of these 24 tracks apart from that,. Quite soon it feels like an overload of toungue in cheek and you kind of want other subject matters. But nevertheless, it's a fun and wellmade album that fills a void in the market for sure.
